Google first with real time search aimed at social media content in facebook, twitter and blogs

Google today released a version of online search aimed at the short lived content of social media. While websites and web 1.0 content was mostly static and changed very slowly if at all, web 2.0 and the social media communities such as Twitter, Facebook and blogs can change by the minute. This gives Google a leg up on the big competition, Bing by Microsoft, even with the 2007 1.5 billion dollar investment in Facebook by Microsoft.
